Needle Felted Messenger Owl

Thurs, Dec. 29th 9am-1pm
Target age range: 8yrs and up
Max 7 students
Cost:$40, includes all materials

In this beginner friendly workshop you will learn the popular technique of needle felting to create your own owl messenger. Each owl will be unique as you will get to choose from using merino wool, alpaca, or curly locks. Do you want your owl to be smooth or hairy? White, brown or grey? Yellow or green eyes? When you are finished felting you’ll name and register your new pet! Bring a lunch and snack.

Design Your Own Magic Wand

Thurs, Dec. 29th, 1:30pm-3:30pm
Target age, 8 yrs and up
Max 7 students
Cost: $25, includes all materials

Design your own magic wand.  Students will use a wood burning tool other materials to adorn your own wand. Students in this workshop should be comfortable using hand tools!

Fri, Dec. 30th, 9am-1pm
Target age: 8yrs and up
Max 7 students
Cost: $45, includes all materials

 

In this workshop you learn to wet felt wool and alpaca fibers together around a resist to make a one of a kind wearable wizard or sorting hat! Bring a snack and lunch.

Needle felt a gnome or wizard! You will be using a combination of locks, alpaca and merino wool and a felting needle to sculpt a gnome or wizard.
